For those who need a blurb, here is that blurb:

I was farm-raised in rural Wisconsin, trained in the deadly art of guerilla filmmaking in Minneapolis, and now call the greater L.A. area home.

After a two-year position as Editor and Associate Producer with Patrick Shen’s Transcendental Media (Flight from Death, The Philosopher Kings, La Source) I decided to return to the freelance world, allowing me more time to focus on my own projects and work closely with longtime friend and collaborator Elijah Drenner under the END Films shingle.

American Grindhouse is a wrap!As END Films’ resident jack-of-all-trades, Videographer, Editor, Animator, Composer, Graphic Designer, DVD Author and Webmaster are just a few of the hats I routinely wear. We primarily produce DVD & Blu-Ray bonus content (interviews, commentaries, retrospective docs) for some of the most exciting niche distributors working today. In 2009, we completed our first feature-length documentary, American Grindhouse, which enjoyed its world premiere at the 2010 SXSW Film Festival.  A few weeks before its inaugural screening, the doc was picked up by Warner Bros. for digital distrubution (you can watch it on Amazon, iTunes, Hulu and myriad cable providers) and acquired by prestigious Kino International/Lorber Films for theatrical screenings and a forthcoming DVD release.

When I’m not working on the latest END Films project, you can find me agonizing over my own screenplays or, more likely, building homemade stringed instruments from cigar boxes and two-by-fours.

Karen, Lady and Dan: triplets.I live with my lovely, patient wife Karen and our five-year-old chibeagle (beaguaua?) Lucky Lady, both of whom I try my best to keep happy, healthy and well-fed.

Oh, and this little girl came along in October of 2011:
